Transportation Services

Georgia Tech’s campus transportation system is open to students, employees, and the public. Boarding fees and IDs are not required. Please ask your driver if you need assistance boarding.

Stinger Buses
  • GT/Emory Shuttle: Provides direct service between Georgia Tech's midtown campus and Emory University's Clifton Campus.
  • Red, Blue, Green: Connects campus housing and academic buildings.
  • Gold: Operates on an east-west route through the heart of Georgia Tech's campus, providing service from the Midtown MARTA Station to the Transit Hub.
  • NARA/TEP Shuttle: Services the North Avenue Research Area (NARA) and Technology Enterprise Park (TEP).
  • Midnight Rambler: Operates during the late night hours every day during fall and spring semesters.
  • Tech Square/Clough Route: Operates between Technology Square in Midtown and the Clough Learning Commons in the heart of Georgia Tech's campus. Stops on this route are a short distance from Coda, Scheller College of Business and the North Avenue MARTA station.
  • Grocery Shuttle: Available to take students to the Publix grocery store in Atlantic Station and shopping district. Service operates Saturday and Sunday, each semester.
Student Paratransit

Provides paratransit service to students with a qualifying disability (permanent or temporary) which requires transportation as a reasonable accommodation. Authorization to use student paratransit services must be obtained from the Office of Disability Services located in the Student Services Building. Paratransit service is prescheduled on a weekly basis, and available Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Any student seeking transportation assistance between 8:00 p.m. and 3:15 a.m. may request a ride through the nighttime on-demand Stingerette service.

Stingerette Nighttime Safety Shuttle

A demand-response, shared-ride transportation service for Georgia Tech students aimed to provide safe and efficient evening transportation on Georgia Tech's campus and the neighborhoods in-between.

The Stingerette is available seven days a week from 8:00 p.m. to 3:15 a.m. (excluding Institute holidays and during home football games). To request a ride, use the GT Stingerette app for Android and iPhone​, or visit www.stingerette.com.

Off-campus transportation

The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) system is easily accessible via the Midtown and North Avenue stations.

Parking Services

All students, including first-year students, are welcome to bring their vehicles to campus. Vehicles must display a campus parking permit.

Students will be billed through their bursar account, and permit fees can be paid the same way as tuition.

Students who do not receive a permit at FASET or through online registration may purchase permits from the Parking & Transportation Services office.
