Leadership takes place at all levels on the Georgia Tech campus — it’s not just for those in formal leadership positions. The Division of Student Life offers many opportunities for students to learn and practice effective leadership skills that can be applied to all areas of their personal and professional lives!

The Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) program offers a thoughtful and intentional series of academic, and co-curricular activities to help students prepare for leadership in a rapidly evolving global society.

New Student & Transition Programs hires student leaders as FASET orientation staff, Wreck Camp Leaders and KNIT mentors.

John Lewis Leadership Pathways Program

The John Lewis Student Leadership Pathways equips student leaders with the skills they need to make meaningful changes within their communities. Each student will have the opportunity to choose how they engage with the pathways. With an emphasis on self-design, leaders will have the opportunity to customize their pathway experience by engaging in a collection of multifaceted high-impact programs.

In the Parent & Family Programs Office, the Parent Assistant Leaders (PALs) serve a key role in the facilitation of ongoing programmatic efforts by Parent & Family Programs and also serve as a resource to the Division of Student Life. This leadership position assists current and prospective parents and family members as they become part of the Yellow Jacket Family.

Designed for students who hope to hold a leadership position and for students who are active as members of officers in one (or more!) or Georgia Tech's 550+ Student Organizations, the GOLD Route program equips participants with the skills and knowledge they need to make meaningful change in their student leadership roles and in their leadership beyond GT.
