Leadership takes place at all levels on the Georgia Tech campus — it’s not just for those in formal leadership positions. The Division of Student Life offers many opportunities for students to learn and practice effective leadership skills that can be applied to all areas of their personal and professional lives!
In the Parent & Family Programs Office, the Parent Assistant Leaders (PALs) serve a key role in the facilitation of ongoing programmatic efforts by Parent & Family Programs and also serve as a resource to the Division of Student Life. This leadership position assists current and prospective parents and family members as they become part of the Yellow Jacket Family.
Designed for students who hope to hold a leadership position and for students who are active as members of officers in one (or more!) or Georgia Tech's 550+ Student Organizations, the GOLD Route program equips participants with the skills and knowledge they need to make meaningful change in their student leadership roles and in their leadership beyond GT.
