Family Weekend provides students with a chance to share campus with their parents, grandparents, siblings, and other family members. During registration, families can create their own schedule from the list of events and activities.

Here are some of the weekend’s highlights.

Friday, Oct. 27

Halloween Holla 5k

From 6:30 to 9 a.m., the Campus Recreation Center will have its annual Halloween Holla 5k. All participants in Family Weekend are invited to run or walk the event. Register here by Oct. 25.

SIRO-A Performance

Arts@Tech will host award-winning Japanese phenomenon, SIRO-A, at the Ferst Center for the Arts. The performance includes groundbreaking visual effects, mime, dance, comedy, puppetry, and high-energy music. SIRO-A has attracted millions of views on YouTube for their “technodelic” appearances on America’s Got Talent and Britain’s Got Talent.

Saturday, Oct. 28

Fall Family Festival

From 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., families are invited to the Yellow Jacket Family Festival at Tech Green. The event features inflatables, face painting, music, treats, and more. Don’t miss out on this fun pre-game activity.

Georgia Tech vs. Clemson Football Viewing Party

Join other Georgia Tech families and students to watch the Yellow Jackets take on the Clemson Tigers on the big screen in McCamish Pavilion. Before kickoff, photographers will be available to take pictures of families with the Ramblin’ Wreck. Concessions will be open during the game for the purchase of food and snack items.

Sunday, Oct. 29

Jazz Brunch with Dean Stein

Wrap up the weekend by enjoying brunch with Vice President of Student Life and Dean of Students John Stein. The meal will include a jazz performance by Georgia Tech students. Brunch will begin at 10:30 a.m.
