Fresh Check Day, which takes place on September 13th from 11 am – 1 pm on Tech Walkway, is a carnival-themed event that connects students with mental health resources on campus.

The fall semester is underway and a great opportunity to check in on your mental health. Fresh Check Day, which takes place on September 13th from 11 am – 1 pm on Tech Walkway, it will be a carnival-themed event that connects students with mental health resources on campus. This event is hosted by Health Initiatives (HI) and the Counseling Center as a part of Suicide Prevention Week.

This event will feature interactive expo booths, mental health resources, King of Pops, giveaways and more! “The goal of Fresh Check Day is to create an approachable atmosphere where students will feel comfortable engaging in dialogue about mental health and becoming knowledgeable about the mental health resources available on campus, in the community, and nationally,” said Joi Alexander, Director of Health Promotion in HI.
